Meet Our Team
Stuart Holt, Founder, President and
CEO
Prior to founding The Evangelism Institute
(TEI), Stuart Holt co-founded and built up Response Marketing Group
(RMG), one of the largest privately owned direct response marketing
companies in the U.S.
In 1998, Stuart and his partner sold Response
Marketing Group to Snyder Communications, becoming part of
BrannWorldwide, the largest marketing firm in the world. One year
after selling RMG to Snyder Communications, Stuart decided to retire
and fully commit his time to philanthropic work.
In 1999 Stuart founded The Evangelism
Institute to study, research and teach Christians how to increase
their joy and excitement by sharing their faith with confidence and
gentleness. Stuart has always had a heart for helping
Christians enjoy the adventure of seeing God at work in their lives
and through effective communication of the Good News of Jesus
Christ.
Stuart came to Christ in 1971 while attending
Virginia Tech. While there, he was very involved with InterVarsity
Christian Fellowship. After college, his first job was with
InterVarsity Press traveling across America promoting the IV Press
books.
Stuart has two sons (Stuart IV and Stephen). Stuart IV is out on his own and in the film industry. Stephen is a junior in high school. Stuart is a long-time church member of West End Presbyterian Church where he is an ordained deacon, leader, supporter and teacher. In his spare time, Stuart is an avid golfer and has had the joy of playing many of the great courses in America.
Dawn McKee, Office
Administrator
Dawn re-joined TEI in August 2008 in our client services and administrative areas, and
as our Design consultant. She is just delighted to "come back home" to TEI.
A Richmond native, Dawn graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree
in Communication Arts & Design. She joined Response Marketing Group in 1987, where
she worked with Stuart Holt. She launched her freelance career in 2001.
Dawn and her husband, Scott, are members of Evergreen Community Church in Powhatan. They re-met in 2005, at their 25th High School class reunion, and are eager to see how God
uses them as they grow together with Him. She has been a helper in Sunday school with
pre-school age children. She also uses her creative talents to help Sweet Monday,
an international ministry which connects and encourages women through fellowship.
